FRIDAY, Feb. 4, 2014 (HealthDay News) -- Researchers have identified a gene named Strumpell in mice that controls the part of the brain responsible for understanding word meanings. As a result, mice lacking the gene can't say more than 10 words, and the researchers said they intend to conduct larger studies in humans.
